Since I’m sure there are still many fans out there who love Bob Saget’s 1987–1995 ABC sitcom Full House, I thought I’d post a few snaps of his former castmates who stopped by his Comedy Central Roast on August 3.
Just follow the jump to see Saget with Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin, John Stamos, and Jodie Sweetin. The Olsen twins were apparently nowhere to be found — the crowd must have been too old for them.

And to complement all the photos of Comedy Central’s recent roast of Bob Saget, the network has released a bunch of preview videos recorded during the event.
Take a look after the jump at a handful of selections featuring Saget himself, as well as Greg Giraldo, Cloris Leachman, and Jeffrey Ross. Leachman is a particularly huge hoot, in a Sarah Silverman way, which helps explain that kiss.

At the end of June, Comedy Central announced that Full House, America’s Funniest Home Videos, and How I Met Your Mother comedian Bob Saget would be getting roasted.
The special event, formally titled the Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget, was taped on the Warner Brothers Lot last Sunday, August 3, in Burbank, California. Although the resulting 90-minute presentation won’t air until August 17 at 10pm EST, that doesn’t mean fans can’t enjoy photos of what happened right now.
Follow the jump to see Saget and his roasters — fellow funny people Susie Essman, Greg Giraldo, Gilbert Gottfried, Cloris Leachman, Norm MacDonald, Jim Norton, Brian Posehn, and Jeffrey Ross — during the occasion. It looks like a great time was had by all, especially Leachman and Saget’s former Full House co-star John Stamos, who plants a major smooch on the icon’s lips.

Actor Josh Holloway, who plays Sawyer on ABC’s weird-island drama Lost, has a new gig in a forthcoming big-screen comedy called Stay Cool.
The movie is written and directed by identical twins Mark and Michael Polish (The Astronaut Farmer, Northfork, Twin Falls Idaho), and the plot revolves around a writer who must cope with an old flame and a new girl with a crush on him when he returns to his hometown to give the commencement speech at a high school graduation ceremony.
Josh’s co-stars include Sean Astin, Chevy Chase, Jon Cryer, Hilary Duff, and Winona Ryder, but the recent location photos after the jump, taken in California, are all of him. Check out those (fake) tatts and that (real) ponytail. Should we gather his character is a bit rough around the edges?

Recently, the news broke that The Cosby Show’s very own Denise Huxtable, also known as actress Lisa Bonet, has landed a central role on the U.S. adaptation of the hit U.K. time-travel cop series Life on Mars. If you didn’t believe those reports, the proof is in the photos after the jump.
Photographers caught Lisa and series star Jason O’Mara shooting scenes for Mars on the first day of filming just yesterday. The setting is Lower Manhattan’s East River Park on what looks like a gorgeous, sunny day.

I was under the impression that the Rescue Me webisodes wouldn’t appear online until they first premiere on FX Tuesday nights at 10pm EST. But I watched the latest installment on Hulu a couple of hours before that time, and then it was taken down. Boo-boo? Limited time offering? Who knows?
The August 5 entry is back online now, though. It’s another good one called “Sandwich,” which refers to the food that Lou repeatedly attempts to eat, and his frustration when he can’t complete that simple task prompts him to give his fellow firefighters a choice word or two. Check out the video after the jump.

The Bill Engvall Show will wrap up its second season on August 7 with two episodes, “A Reptile Dysfunction” and “PromZilla,” airing from 9pm EST until 10pm.
On the first episode, Trent and Bryan are put in charge of Paul’s pet iguana while their sister Lauren starts working for a mean boss at the mall in order to buy an expensive purse.
Then, on the finale, Bill refuses to let Lauren buy an expensive prom dress, and Trent does his darnedest to become an Internet celebrity by putting together his very own online video. If he succeeds, I can’t think of a better or easier way to give his straight-and-narrow parents matching heart attacks.
The sneak peek after the jump is from the first episode, “A Reptile Dysfunction.”

The July 29 installment of the Rescue Me minisode series is the sixth, and it’s called “Supreme.” I waited and waited and waited some more last week for the Web version to get posted online, to no avail, and I finally gave up.
The plot this time around focuses on Denis Leary’s Tommy, who’s gone back to that familiar deep, dark place in his mind where every woman he wants wants him back. I guess it’s good to be Tommy … until you inevitably wake up from your fantasy.
“Supreme” follows the jump.

It’s getting kind of confusing following the order and titles of FX’s Rescue Me minisodes since different sources are listing different names and premiere dates for some of them.
I also thought the webisodes weren’t supposed to appear online until after their minisode counterparts debut on television. However, either I must be wrong or somebody slipped up because tonight’s new minisode, which doesn’t come on until 10pm EST, is already posted at Hulu. Go figure…
[NOTE: The video just expired a few minutes before 8pm EST, while I was writing the post but after I watched it, so I’ll blog it when Hulu feels like putting it back online.]
After the jump, find “Spelling,” the fifth installment of the series, which premiered on TV on July 22. It’s all about our favorite firefighters placing bets to cure their boredom, but not on anything you’d expect.

Office star Rainn Wilson was one of the many non-teenage entertainers who stopped by the 2008 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, August 3, and he looks like he had a blast even though he didn’t win anything.
Take a look after the jump to see what I mean. This is the guy you’d want to invite to your boring office party to spice things up … or at least make the occasion kind of weird.
